TUMBLING CLASSES

Tumbling 101

Students will learn to control basic body positions and beginning tumbling skills. Class focuses on the handstand, forward & backward rolls, bridges and cartwheels.

Pre-Requisite: n/a

Walkovers & Round Offs

Students will learn novice body positions and tumbling skills. Class focuses on a variety of drills, progressions, and strength training to achieve the back and front walkover, and mastering the round off. Pre-Requisite: Tumbling 101 or enroll in a placement evaluation 

**Placement Evaluation is only for experienced athletes that are unsure of which class to register for. If you have limited experience you must register for an entry level class. (ex. Gymnastics – Beginner or Tumbling 101) If your child is below the age of 6, you must register in a preschool class.

Handsprings 101

Students will learn how to perfect beginning and novice level positions and skills. Class focuses on a standing back handspring and round off back handspring, while introducing the front handspring. Pre-Requisite: Walkovers & Round Offs or enroll in a placement evaluation 

**Placement Evaluation is only for experienced athletes that are unsure of which class to register for. If you have limited experience you must register for an entry level class. (ex. Gymnastics – Beginner or Tumbling 101) If your child is below the age of 6, you must register in a preschool class.

Advanced Handsprings

Students will learn drills to increase speed and power into their tumbling. Class focuses on the connection of multiple handsprings, along with a strong rebound. Pre-Requisite: Handsprings 101 or enroll in a placement evaluation

Tucks & Aerials

Students will learn air sense and body awareness. Class focuses on flipping in a tucked position both forward and backwards, in both running and standing tumbling. Ariels, along with other acrobatic skills are worked on. Pre-Requisite: Advanced Handsprings or enroll in a placement evaluation

Layouts & Twists

Students will learn the most elite level of body control and performance. Class focuses on the layout, and twisting skills from beginner to elite. Pre-Requisite: Tucks & Ariels or enroll in a placement evaluation

NINJA CLASSES

Ninja Zone

The NinjaZone is an all new discipline inspired from Obstacle Course Training, Gymnastics, Street Dance, & Martial Arts.

*All ninjas are required to purchase an official Ninja Zone T-Shirt and headband upon registration. Cost will be posted to first monthly bill ($26.69).

GYMNASTICS CLASSES

Beginner Gymnastics

World Elite Kids’ gymnastics classes are fun, safe and progressive! The focus of this class is to develop and continually improve the student’s strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and self-esteem. Gymnastics classes are offered for children ages 6 – 18 years old. World Elite Kids offers an exciting non-competitive gymnastics experience for your child.

Intermediate Gymnastics

In this class, gymnasts will be challenged more physically and mentally than the Beginner girls class. Gymnasts will be taught skills on the vault, bars, beam, and floor exercise. Strength, flexibility, and coordination will be a major concentration, as it is necessary to safely and effectively perform on all gymnastics equipment. Prior experience is a must, gymnasts must be able to do a back-bend on the floor and a pullover on the bars. Classes are taught in a fun yet focused manner, encouraging students to achieve higher-level skills. ***Dress – Leotard***

Advanced Gymnastics

This is the highest level of gymnastics in our recreational program. Gymnasts at this level continue to use all of the Olympic events and trampolines. This class is 1.5 hours long and gives the more advanced student the opportunity to continue to grow with their gymnastics at their own pace. ***Dress – Leotard***

Half Year Gymnastics

Our Half-Year Team is a competitive gymnastics team with a lower level of commitment and financial obligation compared to our full year team. Gymnasts will practice 2 days and will compete at two meets during the season. Registration opens October 1st.

CHEER CLASSES
